Giuliano Tamburini, a young artist endowed with great professionalism, is undoubtedly one of the most rigorous and careful water-colourists. He has got to a technical and meaningful language of great quality, and choosing the landscape as his primary sourse of inspiration, he has realized, better than others, the actual value of water-painting. Thanks to a deepened research, his landscapes seem to be more perceived by intuition than seen in their real appearance. As everybody knows, water-colour is above all transparence and freshness and therefore brightness. Just in that direction G.T. worked, reaching it by an essential technique, avoiding any excess the technique itself may suggest. Therefore a great merit for his scrupolous and rigorous research. Moreover, as to the figure, it has been seen linked to the landscape space, just like a natural and sentimental element. Even if he has subsequently tested different techniques, watercolour can be considered his real aim. In his wide production, a clear and meaningful quality comes out together with a curious and complicated intellectual tension, which reveals his true nature. Tamburini, tireless in considering and trying out shapes and subjects, shows and has shown a path always enlightened by that intelligence and intuition which let the identity of a great style appear.
